I started boarding professionally in May 2021, but have taken care of friends' dogs for years. I've was a dog Mom for 30+ years. (Our Charlie passed away Jan 2025.)
We absolutely adore dogs and they are naturally drawn to us like magnets. My husband gets attached to our beloved guests--remembering their names and putting their photos on the wall. He's also the one who plays with them. AND he even bought a sofa with the needs of one particular favorite guest in mind. :-)
On the side, I've been doing freelance graphic design from home for 20+ years, but boarding is now my primary focus. I am almost always at the house and rarely go out of town.
